Owen SharpOwen Sharp, Chief Executive

Owen Sharp joined Prostate Cancer UK in 2010, having worked at Victim Support as Deputy Chief Executive and Operations Director. Owen has worked in the NHS in a number of strategic and operational roles across England, beginning his career in healthcare as a nurse.

Outside of work, Owen has a relatively healthy obsession with his favourite baseball team, the Tampa Bay Rays.

 

 

Jack Bacon

Jack Bacon, Fundraising

Jack Bacon is our Fundraising Manager overseeing Golf, Local Heroes and RAG programmes.  An experienced community fundraiser he is used to visiting unknown places across the country and meeting strangers at train stations to collect cheques.

In his spare time, when he is not chasing after his two year old daughter, he can be found reading comic books while listening to old garage records from the West Coast.

 

 

Sophie LutterSophie Lutter, Science and research

Sophie Lutter is our Senior Communications Officer covering research and policy communications.

She really enjoys meeting our researchers, finding out what they’re up to and why they’re doing it and sharing their scientific updates with you.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys playing a bit of netball and reading books with happy endings.

 

 

 

Nick WrightNick Wright, Services and support

Nick is our Communications Manager and works closely with our services, volunteers and health professionals.

He keeps in touch with our amazing supporters and staff throughout the UK, listening to their inspirational stories and sharing them with you.

Outside of work, Nick’s passions are song-writing and immersing himself in his huge collection of albums.
